People interested in having a stall at our markets should first read the information on the Markets Tab and then complete the Stallholder Application Form.

BBQ at Orange Health Service

On the third Friday of each month, the Rotary Club of Orange sells BBQ lunches at the Orange Health Service (The Hospital) on Forest Road. We will be on the grass near the front car parks if it is fine, and if it is raining, we may not be there at all. Come and buy an egg and bacon roll or a sausage sandwich (with free onions if you like) and a drink between 11 am and 1.30 pm.

Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival 2021

This will be a festival of local events, providing entertainment and celebrating the Australian culture of bush poetry.

Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, events that may require interstate travel have been postponed until the 2022 Festival. This includes the National Bush Poetry Performance Championships.

  • Wednesday 17 February 2021 (Banjo’s birthday)
    • Unveiling of Banjo Sculpture at Yeoval
    • Twilight birthday celebration at Banjo Paterson Park, Ophir Road, Orange
  • Thursday 18 February 2021 – Wrath of Grapes at Heifer Station Winery, Orange
  • Friday 19 February 2021 – Rotary Brekky and Poetry on the Pavers at the Orange Civic Centre South Court
  • Saturday 20 February 2021 – Youth poetry competition at the Orange Ex Services Club
  • Sunday 21 February 2021 – Rotary family market day at the Orange Showground
